Tips from our Freshmen Representatives:
- The TILT Building is located on the Oval, and it houses tutoring centers for a variety of classes!
- The CLeRC in the Yates Building is great for help with chemistry labs and homework!
- The library is a great place to study:
- Basement: no noise
- Top Floor: collaborative work (noisy)
- Get coffee and meet with groups
- Reserve study rooms for free
- Mobile white boards and TVs you can use for free (just bring whiteboard markers or check them out from the front desk)
- Front Desk Supplies: you can check out markers, books, laptops, charges, etc.
- There are study rooms in Corbett you can reserve for free (all you have to do is give them your student id and they will give you the key)
- Use the CVMBS printing lab in A/Z as much as possible! You will never run out of paper and you pay for it with tuition so why not use it
- Use the bio computer center to print posters (all you have to do is make an appointment) - not sure if this is only for bio majors
